LuxAlign is an alternative to traditional modeling and thermoforming processes and can produce clear aligners in two hours after an initial oral scan, according to an April 20 news release from the company.
When using traditional methods, patients may have to wait up to six weeks for their initial aligners, the report said.
The end-to-end workflow includes iLux Pro Dental, LuxAlign design software, iLuxCure Pro, direct clear aligner material and LuxScale.
