PDS Health Technologies has partnered with the University of the Pacific on an Epic deployment that will enhance medical-dental integration.

The University of the Pacific will become the first dental school in the U.S. to implement PDS Health’s dental-optimized instance of Epic across medical, dental and ambulatory surgery center settings, according to a March 23 news release. This collaboration will include the addition of Epic at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco.

PDS Health Technologies said it will also provide the dental school with RCM services to help align its clinical and operational performance.

PDS Health launched PDS Health Technologies last April to provide EHR capabilities to external organizations and providers through Epic Community Connect.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
