Orem, Utah-based Private Orthodontic Practices has partnered with OrthoPulse to provide its network of practices with near-infrared light therapy.
OrthoPulse’s FDA-cleared technology for NIR photobiomodulation therapy supports increased orthodontic treatment efficiency, predictability of tooth movement and patient comfort, according to a Feb. 18 news release from OrthoPulse.
NIR therapy can be used for patients with both aligners and fixed appliances and can reduce the number of refinements needed and mid-course corrections.
POP helps lower overhead and improve operational and clinical efficiency for its network of private practice orthodontists, the release said.
