SimplyTest has launched a molecular test to detect microbial species linked to peri-implant disease and implant failure.

The company’s IMPLANT test is designed for chairside or at-home use, according to a July 22 news release. Results are delivered within 24-48 hours after the sample is delivered to a lab. The results include insights that support conversations around diagnosis and treatment planning.

SimplyTest has several oral health tests, including tests for organisms associated with periodontal disease and oral HPV.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
