SprintRay acquires EnvisionTEC’s dental portfolio

Dental 3D printing company SprintRay has acquired the dental portfolio of EnvisionTEC, a global manufacturer of 3D printers. 

The acquisition includes patents, trademarks, inventory and other intellectual property related to EnvisionTEC’s dental materials and 3D printing technologies, according to a Sept. 2 news release. 

EnvisionTEC has developed more than 200 patents spanning 3D printing hardware and materials over the last 20 years.
