Dr. Bayraktaroglu, a prosthodontist at Smile Rehab Center in Southlake, Texas, began utilizing the robotic system for dental implants when the practice received the robot in 2022.
Yomi, manufactured by Neocis, is the only FDA-cleared robot-assisted dental surgery system in the U.S.
The $150,000 system is used by 150 dentists across the country, including four other practices in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the report said.
