ZimVie records $9.7M net loss in Q4: 6 things to know

Dental implant company ZimVie reported a net loss of $9.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2024, an improvement over the $22.2 million net loss the company had in the fourth quarter of 2023, according to a Feb. 26 news release from ZimVie.

Here are six things to know about the company’s 2024 fourth quarter and full-year performance. 

1. ZimVie recorded $111.5 million in third-party net sales during the fourth quarter of 2024, a slight decrease from 2023.

2. The company had an adjusted net income of $7.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2024. 

3. Total third-party net sales for 2024 were $449.7 million. 

4. ZimVie reported a $33.8 million net loss in 2024, compared to a net loss of $56 million in 2023. 

5.  The company reduced its net debt by more than $290 million in 2024.

6. In 2024, ZimVie transitioned to a pure play dental company after entering an agreement to sell its spine business at the end of 2023.
