Dentsply Sirona preliminary financial report shows $3.99B in 2017 revenue: 5 insights

Dentsply Sirona released its preliminary fourth quarter and full-year 2017 financial results.

Here are five insights:

1. The company expects to see $1.09 billion in fourth quarter revenue, a 9.5 percent increase from 2016.

2. Dentsply Sirona predicts full-year revenues to surpass $3.99 billion, up 6.6 percent from the prior year.

3. Fourth quarter sales in the U.S. are anticipated to be around $365.7 million, an 11.2 percent increase. In Europe, sales are predicted to top $445.1 million, and in the rest of the world, $280.2 million.

4. Full year sales in the U.S. are around $1.37 billion, a 4.6 percent increase. In Europe, sales are above $1.61 billion, and in the rest of the world, sales are expected to reach $1.01 billion.

5. Dentsply Sirona expects 2018 adjusted earnings per share to range between $2.70 and $2.80.
