Henry Schein celebrates Give Kids A Smile program: 5 things to know

Henry Schein partnered with Nassau County Dental Society to celebrate the 16th annual Give Kids A Smile program.

Here are five things to know:

1. The Give Kids A Smile program is an American Dental Association Foundation initiative where clinical teams volunteer to provide underserved children free oral health and education services.

2. Henry Schein teamed up with more than 400 volunteers to provide more than 1,200 kids in Nassau County, N.Y. with dental screenings, fluoride varnish applications and teeth brushing education.

3. Henry Schein first became involved with the Give Kids A Smile program in 2003.

4. Across the country, nearly 300,000 kids will receive care through the program, and more than 24,000 volunteers will participate, including 6,000 dentists.

5. Henry Schein suppliers supporting the program include 3M, Dentsply Sirona, Premier and Septodont.
