Connecticut dentist sentenced to 6 years in prison for illegally prescribing oxycodone: 4 takeaways

Peter Delaney, DMD, spent the last year at Northern Correctional Institution in Somers, Conn., after investigators arrested the dentist for illegally prescribing opioids, the Hartford Courant reports.

4. Kevin Baker is one of the people who fell victim to addiction after Dr. Delany sourced Mr. Baker's opioids. Mr. Baker was arrested for robbing East Granby bank twice. He robbed the bank to pay off drug debts.
