Ohio dentist pleads guilty to drugging woman & gross sexual imposition

New Philadelphia, Ohio-based dentist Victor Nguyen, DMD, pled guilty to a second degree and fourth degree felony charges after he drugged and sexually assaulted a woman, according to the Times Reporter.

Dr. Nguyen was charged with corrupting a woman with drugs and gross sexual imposition. The drug charged carries the potential of two to eight years in prison and a $7,500 to $15,000 fine. The gross imposition charges carries a six to 18 month sentence and $5,500 fine.

The judge scheduled Dr. Nguyen's sentences for July 31. Prior to the sentencing, the dentist will undergo a counseling program for men.

Dr. Nguyen will be classified as a Tier 1 sex offender, requiring him to report to the sheriff's department of any county he resides in for the next 15 years.
