Here are five dental companies making headlines.

Kansas City, Mo.-based TeamSmile teamed up with the Kansas City Chiefs to provide free dental care.

Dental Aid  welcomed Ernest Duff as executive director.

Former Smiles 4 Kids at Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma, Wash., office manager, Lisa Walker, filed a complaint with the Washington State Dental Quality Assurance Commission alleging the practice reused disposable Isolite mouthpieces.

East Syracuse, N.Y.-based Aspen Dental  held a recruitment event to match fourth-year dental students with Aspen Dental practice owners.

The California Dental Association Foundation organized an event with 800 dentists to provide free care.
