Most residents have to drive more than 30 miles for a dental appointment. The county currently has one dentist, but the practice doesn’t accept Medicaid or certain insurances, Pamela Allen, a Dade County health department employee told KY3 News.

Ms. Allen said the new clinic will accept non-insured individuals, along with those with insurance or Medicaid.
