Case Western Reserve University receives $3M donation for dental, medical, nursing scholarships

Cleveland-based Case Western Reserve University was gifted $3 million to create endowed scholarships for dental, medical and nursing students, according to Cleveland.com.

The Ralph T. and Esther L. Warburton Foundation donated the $3 million. The scholarships created will go to middle-class families who do not quality for financial aid and cannot afford to pay full tuition.

Three students, one seeking a doctoral degree in medicine, one doctoral student in dentistry and one pursing a graduate-level degree in nursing, will receive the scholarships each year. It's unclear how many scholarships will be added because of the donation since the scholarship amounts vary.
