Ex-New Hampshire dental office employee to set to enter plea agreement on theft charge

A former employee at Keene (N.H.) Dentistry & Implants is expected to enter a plea agreement for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from the practice, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

According to court documents, Eileen Fletcher, 28, will have to repay more than $3,400 to Keene Dentistry & Implants if she accepts the plea deal. The agreement would allow her to avoid jail time. Under the plea agreement, Ms. Fletcher would plead guilty to one felony count of theft.

The plea agreement calls for a suspended one-year jail sentence and being placed on probation for two years, reports the Union Leader. Additionally, as part of the deal, Ms. Fetcher would not be able to contact Keene Dentistry & Implants.

An internal finance review discovered that Ms. Fletcher had allegedly stolen thousands of dollars in August, October and November 2018 from the dental practice.

The plea agreement hearing is scheduled for March.
