Wausau, Wis.-based Prehn Dental Offices has returned to routine care, though with additional safety measures, including patient screening. Despite the extra precautions, Frederick Prehn, DDS, said low-risk individuals are coming in for routine dental care.

“Since that day we opened on the 27th in April, it’s been nonstop,” Dr. Prehn told WSAW NewsChannel 7. “I kind of thought there would be more people canceling.”

Dr. Prehn said the practice has scheduled appointments for more vulnerable age groups further into the summer or fall.
