Dental reopenings account for 10% of all US jobs gained last month

Reopened dental practices account for 78.2 percent of all healthcare jobs recovered between April and May, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The dental industry recovered 244,000 jobs between April and May alone, while the healthcare industry recovered 312,000 total jobs.

Dentist offices account for 10 percent of all jobs gained last month across the entire U.S. economy, according to a tweet by The New York Times and Vox reporter Sarah Kliff.
