Prosthodontists had the highest percent of respondents who were "very confident" in the recovery of their practice, according to an American Dental Association economic impact survey for the week of Jan. 18.
Survey respondents were asked, "Looking ahead to 2021, how confident are you in the recovery of your dental practice?"
Below are the percentage of respondents who said they were "very confident," ordered from greatest to least.
Prosthodontist: 38.9 percent
Endodontist: 34.8 percent
Orthodontist: 32.8 percent
Pediatric dentist: 31 percent
General practice: 30.1 percent very confident
Periodontist: 29.3 percent
Dental surgical specialist: 28.8 percent
