The original Sept. 30 deadline has been pushed to Dec. 31. Dental professionals who can apply for their license under the extension include dentists, dental anesthesia permit holders, dental hygienists and dental specialists.
The Illinois State Dental Society requested a deadline extension in August after the regulation agency’s IT conversion process delayed the opening of the state’s online renewal portal.
