Virginia clinic awarded $136K to launch urgent dental care program

A free clinic in Virginia is launching an urgent dental care program after receiving $136,000 in grants, WDBJ reported Feb. 4.

The Free Clinic of Central Virginia was awarded $100,000 by the Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation, $20,000 from the Al Stroobants Foundation and $16,200 from the Centra Community Benefit. 

The clinic, which has three locations in Lynchburg and Bedford, currently only provides basic dental services to adults by appointment.
