Several dental companies and dental practitioners have come together on ways to support those affected by the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Becker's previously reported on eight responses to the conflict, which include donations, statements of support for Ukraine and additional resources.
Here are three more ways the dental industry has responded:
1. Andrew Browar, DDS, and Taisa Browar, DDS, are collecting donations to give to oral surgeons in Ukraine.
2. The Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia said it will be partnering with non-government agencies to send donations to support Ukrainian refugees and citizens.
3. The California Dental Association Foundation opened a relief fund to support dental care in Ukraine. The dental agency contributed $10,000 to the fund.
