Florida dental office evacuated after bomb threat

Nearby businesses and residences in Wilton Manor, Fla., were evacuated after a bomb threat was made from inside a dental office, which police later determined was a hoax, WSVN reported Oct. 27.

Brian Koller allegedly walked into the dental office after 3:10 p.m. with a package he claimed to be a bomb and refused to leave. Police then evacuated neighboring businesses and shut down a portion of Wilton Drive. Around 8 p.m., police were able to apprehend Mr. Koller and examine the package, determining it was not a bomb.

Mr. Koller faces three felony charges of threatening to use a weapon of mass destruction, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief.
