Here are four dental industry updates that have taken place in Ohio since Aug. 20:
1. Chicago-based Phase 1 Equity continued its 2025 expansion with its first Ohio practice.
2. New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Dental365 acquired six dental practices in Toledo, Maumee, Oregon, Alliance, Akron and Louisville, Ohio.
3. The Woodlands, Texas-based Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers plans to open its fourth location in Ohio.
4. Cleveland-based Northeast Ohio Medical University welcomed its inaugural class of 52 students.
