Here are four dental industry updates that have taken place in the dental industry so far this year:
1. The Utah Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the American Dental Hygienists Association have urged Gov. Spencer Cox to veto a bill that would ban water fluoridation statewide.
2. SPP Dental Partners added its first practice in Utah, partnering with Giauque Family Dental in Millcreek, Utah.
3. Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health partnered with Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine in South Jordan, Utah, to provide students with hands-on clinical training.
4. The Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake in Utah arrested a woman accused of stealing from local dental offices.
