Here are four recent updates on dentistry in Tennessee that Becker's has reported on since Feb. 28:
1. The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry in Memphis received a $52.9 million grant to increase the number of dentists and access to dental care in the state.
2. Nashville, Tenn.-based Endodontic Practice Partners added 14 practices to its network.
3. A dentist in Knoxville, Tenn., was sentenced to six months in prison after pleading guilty to conspiring to commit healthcare fraud.
4. Brentwood, Tenn.-based Marquee Dental Partners acquired a Kentucky practice.
