New York dental practice employee convicted for stealing more than $20K

A former employee at a dental office in Geneva, N.Y., was convicted for stealing more than $20,000 from the practice, according to an April 19 report by the Finger Lakes Times.

Over the course of four months in 2021, Breanna Reed, 30, kept 11 deposit envelopes from the practice, the report said. 

Ms. Reed was arrested on charges of third-degree grand larceny in 2022. She was convicted of fourth-degree grand larceny April 17 and is scheduled to be sentenced July 8, according to the report. The maximum sentence is up to four years in prison.

Police and prosecutors declined to name the practice.
