- Sage Dental reached 100 offices after acquiring Kendall Dental Care in Miami. It also opened an office in The Villages, Fla.
- Boca Raton-based Florida Atlantic University is set to get $30 million from the state to fund its new dental school.
- Brentwood, Tenn.-based Marquee Dental Partners added three Florida practices to its network.
- ZimVie, Zimmer Biomet's spine and dental spinoff, opened a training institute for dental practitioners in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
- Miami-based Guardian Dentistry Partners added Michelle Getz, DMD, as a partner.
- The Florida House of Representatives and Senate are considering two bills that would expand access to mobile dental clinics.
