3. Brian Bui, DDS, a Texas dentist, was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for COVID-19 relief fraud.
4. Hilton Israelson, DDS, former president of the Texas Dental Association and trustee of the American Dental Association, passed away.
5. The Texas Dentists for Medicaid Reform group filed a complaint with the Texas Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General over delays in the credentialing of Medicaid dentists.
