The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock recently expanded its oral health clinic.
The university added 3,490 square feet to its Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation Oral Health Clinic. Now at 12,800 square feet, the clinic features 15 dental hygiene operatories and three full-time hygienists.
The clinic has served about 18,000 patients during its 10 years, according to a June 23 news release.
The expansion also allows the residency program to apply for two additional slots, potentially increasing the program from six to eight residents.
