Here are six updates on private practices that have take place in July:
1. Upper Sandusky, Ohio-based Fay Family Dental Care will relocate to a larger building in August. Practice owner Morgan Fay, DDS, said the new space will feature eight hygiene rooms instead of four. The practice also hired a third dental hygienist.
2. Riccobene Family Dentistry in Huntersville, N.C., is preparing to rebuild after a fire destroyed its office in May.
3. David Levasseur, DDS, purchased a dental practice in Presque Isle, Maine, after the previous owner retired.
4. Anne Lyon, DDS, is transitioning ownership of her practice in Austin, Texas, to Yaron Shvets, DDS, after more than 30 years.
5. A new dentist is opening up a practice at the site of an Aurora, Colo.-based practice that closed after its owner was accused of poisoning his wife.
6. Blane Jackson, DDS, submitted a tenant improvement application to the city of Sierra Vista, Ariz., to remodel the site of a former restaurant and turn it into a dental practice.
