Shuttered Ohio dental clinic sued for missed payments on equipment lease

Siemens Financial Services filed a lawsuit against the Dental Center of Northwest Ohio for failing to make payments on an equipment lease, WTVG reported Aug. 10.

The Dental Center of Northwest Ohio had six locations in the state. It closed its Findlay-based office in May but completely shut down Aug. 11 after experiencing staffing and financial challenges during the last two years.

Siemens Financial Services' lawsuit alleges that the dental center has failed to make several monthly payments on an equipment lease.

The lawsuit states Siemens Financial has allegedly suffered at least $239,745.99 in damages as of Aug. 3, the news station reported. The company is suing for total damages, attorneys' fees, late charges and other amounts due under the lease.

Becker's has contacted the Dental Center of Northwest Ohio for comment and will update the article as more information becomes available.
