Dentist salaries in the top 10 states to live in

The top four best states to live are in the Northeast, according to personal finance website WalletHub.

In a report released Aug. 14, WalletHub determined the best states to live in. The site ranked all 50 states across five dimensions: affordability, economy, education and health, quality of life and safety. Those dimensions were then evaluated using 51 metrics, including the states’ unemployment rates, housing affordability and quality of their public school systems.

Salary information comes from May 2022 data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Here are the average dentist salaries in the top 10 states to live in:

Note: Salary data was not available for California, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, Vermont or Washington.
