Yakima, Wash.-based Pacific Northwest University-Health Sciences recently started construction on its new dental school.
Construction is expected to be completed in late spring or early summer 2024, according to a LinkedIn post from Fotinos Panagakos, DMD, the school's founding dean.
The school plans to train dentists to serve in rural and underserved communities. It will be the second dental school in Washington.
