A Texas man pleaded guilty Jan. 22 to fatally shooting two dentists in 2022 at an Affordable Dentures & Implants office, ABC affiliate KLTV reported.
Steven Alexander Smith, 42, of Tyler, Texas, was a patient at the Tyler-based office, operated by Morrisville, N.C.-based DSO Affordable Care.
On March 16, 2022, Mr. Smith reportedly became angry with the dental office's staff, went to his car and returned with a handgun and shot two dentists who were working inside the practice. Both dentists, Blake Sinclair, DDS, and Jack Burroughs, DDS, later died.
Mr. Smith was arrested later that day and was held on $3 million bond.
