Marko Kamel, DDS, the clinic owner, said that he was forced to close the clinic because he “ran out of money” earlier this month. He filed for bankruptcy on March 22.
Former patients of the practice have not heard anything from Dr. Kamel or his lawyer regarding the closure.
Patients paid ahead of time for dental implants, but now have to look for other dentists and practices to receive treatment.
Dr. Kamel’s dental license is suspended and he is not authorized to practice in the state, the Minnesota Board of Dentistry said.
