North Carolina dentist’s license suspended

A North Carolina dentist had his license suspended April 2 for allegedly being impaired at his dental office.

The North Carolina Board of Dental Examiners took emergency action against the license of Paul Jeffrey Lowe, DMD, after allegedly receiving evidence that Dr. Lowe was impaired at his dental office and was unfit to practice.

Dr. Lowe’s license is suspended pending further review by the board, according to board records.
