1. Graduates from the Milwaukee-based Marquette University School of Dentistry became the first class in the U.S. to receive ‘privilege diplomas.’

2. Northcentral Technical College in Wausau, Wis., is creating the first dental therapy training program in the state.

3. Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental launched a scholarship program for dental hygiene students at Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville, Wis.

4. Bay Oral Surgery & Implant Center experienced a data breach that resulted in protected health information being exposed.

5. The office of Stanley Brown, DDS, reopened days after it was evacuated following the collapse of the building next door.
