Riverbend Dental has offices in Alton, Godfrey and Jerseyville, Ill. Its Alton office will stop accepting new patients Oct. 8 and will merge with the other two offices Oct. 14.
Employees at the Alton office, who were notified of the closure Sept. 12, will be transferred to one of the two remaining offices.
Riverbend Dental is managed by La Cross Dental and has operated in Illinois since March 2011. La Cross Dental is a group practice that operates several other dental practices in Illinois and Missouri.
An official with La Cross Dental could not be reached by The Telegraph for comment.
