5 dental industry updates in Colorado

Here are five dental industry updates that have taken place in Colorado since June:

1. Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened an office in Brighton, Colo., Oct. 23.

2. A retail center in Lakewood, Colo., that includes an Aspen Dental location was sold for $6.4 million.

3. Colorado Gov. Jared Polis issued an executive order that includes cuts to the state’s Medicaid program. 

4. Irving, Texas-based Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics opened a location in Lakewood, Colo.

5. A Colorado dentist was sentenced to 41 months in prison for tax evasion.
