5 dental mergers, acquisitions in August

Here are five dental industry mergers and acquisitions that took place in August:

  • Dental exam administrator CDCA-WREB-CITA merged with the American Board of Dental Examiners to create a single entity.
  • New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Dental365 acquired six dental practices in Toledo, Maumee, Oregon, Alliance, Akron and Louisville, Ohio. It also acquired Garden Spot Dental Care in New Holland, Pa., and Hempfield Dental Care in Lancaster, Pa.
  • Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sage Dental acquired The Dental Group in Oakland Park, Fla.
  • Great Hill Partners acquired a majority interest in Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, a dental ASC chain.
