1. Along with being president of the AAPD, Dr. Nickman is an American Board of Pediatric Dentistry diplomate.

2. Dr. Nickman is also a Pierre Fauchard Academy and American College of Dentists member.

3. He is a past president of the Minnesota Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and served on the board of trustees of the AAPD.

4. Within is Minnesota community, Dr. Nickman is a member of the Minneapolis District Dental Society and Minnesota Dental Association.

5. Since earning his dental of dental surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis, Dr. Nickman became an associate clinical professor at the university.
