6 dental leadership moves in February + March

1. Mike Baird was named CEO of Henry Schein One, a joint venture of Henry Schein and Internet Brands.

2. Allan Allford, Delta Dental of Arizona’s President and CEO, is retiring Dec. 31 after more than 11 years in that position.

3. Philadelphia-based Penn Dental Medicine selected Marc Henschel, DDS, to lead its new Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program.

4. Alton-based Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine Dean Bruce Rotter, DDS, named Duane Douglas, DMD, associate dean for faculty.

5. Louvenia Rainge, DMD, was recognized March 9 by the Georgia Senate as the 152nd president of the Georgia Dental Association. Dr. Rainge is the association’s first Black female president.

6. The Michigan Periodontal Association elected Allan Padbury Jr., DDS, president.
