ADA affiliates with the Academy of Private Dental Practice: 3 things to know

The American Dental Association is collaborating with the Academy of Private Dental Practice to better support dentists, according to a March 11 news release from the ADA. 

Here are three things to know:

  1. The APDP aims to advance the private practice industry through relationship-based care, peer support and leadership development. 
  2. Through the affiliation, the ADA will improve its resources, training opportunities and practice management tools available to its members in private practice.
  3. The APDP was founded in 1965 by a group of 29 dentists to help dentists become more efficient in business and ownership aspects of their practice.
