According to a case from the Dental Board of California, Dr. Do failed to follow or comply with infection control standards, as well as unsanitary or unsafe office conditions, as determined by the customary practice and standards of the dental profession.
Dr. Do was given 30 days to appeal the citation by writing to the board, explaining the specific measures taken to correct the concerns, and pay a $3,000 fine. Dr. Do did not appeal the citation or pay the fine.
