The practice expands access to care for individuals on MassHealth’s Medicaid insurance, but there is still a need for more dentists and hygienists.

CHP converted the administrative offices at its headquarters in Great Barrington to open the new dental center in September.

Currently, the center serves about 800 patients and is one of a few practices in the area that accepts Medicaid insurance.

The project was funded with $1.6 million from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services and $150,000 from Great Barrington’s federal pandemic relief funds.

CHP also has dental centers in Pittsfield, North Adams and Adams, Mass., the report said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
