Dental hygiene practice to open in Maine

Mid-Maine Dental Hygiene will open its doors in Milo, Maine, Feb. 7, FOX Bangor reported Jan. 30. 

The practice is led by Darcy Burgess, an independent hygienist with more than 20 years of experience. Services offered include preventive cleanings, periodontal therapy and maintenance, fluoride treatments, whitening and oral health assessments. 

The practice originally opened in 2024, but moved into an expanded location, which will host a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce next month.
