Waukesha, Wis.-based Community Smiles Dental is opening a new 12-chair dental clinic through an $8.2 million capital campaign, according to a Sept. 17 report from WisBusiness.
The clinic will be located in Milwaukee and include 12 dental operatories with modern technology. About 84,000 children in the Milwaukee area lack access to dental care due to the limited number of clinics that accept Medicaid.
As of September, Community Smiles Dental has raised about 70% of its goal for the project.
The new clinic, which is expected to open in spring 2027, will be the organization’s third location, the report said.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
