Here are nine dental groups, schools and technology companies that have received more than $272 million in investments and funding, as reported by Becker’s since Feb. 10:
- Denver-based Lone Peak Dental Group received a $15 million mezzanine debt investment from o15 Capital Partners, an alternative investment firm.
- Sarasota, Fla.-based Dental Care Alliance entered into an agreement with its existing lender group to reduce its debt by more than $1.1 billion and receive $95 million in new capital.
- MINISH Technology, a company focused on preserving natural tooth structure, received a $22 million investment.
- The NYU Dentistry Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities received a $5.48 million grant to improve access to care.
- HeyDonto AI Technology closed a $20 million seed funding round at a $200 million valuation.
- UT Health San Antonio received a $6.5M gift to support future pediatric-focused professionals in dentistry, medicine and nursing.
- The West Virginia University School of Dentistry secured $5 million in state funding to make improvements to its main student clinic.
- Parkland College in Champaign, Ill., received $3.5 million in federal funding to expand its dental hygiene program and construct a new dental clinic.
- Orthodontics artificial intelligence company DentalMonitoring secured a $100M investment from two new investors.
