In an affidavit, the patient claims she was given nitrous oxide before her surgery on Dec. 6, 2019. It was then that Edwin Alvis allegedly pulled up the women’s shirt and assaulted her. Mr. Alvis also allegedly reached into the woman’s pants and touched her inappropriately.
Mr. Alvis denied the incident happened in an interview Jan. 2. However, investigators took a swab of his DNA. After testing the DNA against the DNA from the victim, detectives determined Mr. Alvis’ DNA was on the patient’s breasts.
