Five insights:
1. Between September and December 2018, more than 400 grammar-school-age children attended one-day programs to receive school supplies as well as new toothbrushes and toothpaste.
2. Local dentists conducted oral health screenings and education on how to use their toothbrushes as well as floss by Henry Schein and the International College of Dentists.
3. The oral care program is an ongoing project that will continue this year.
4. Henry Schein’s donations were part of its Henry Schein Cares initiative, a global corporate social responsibility program.
5. The International College of Dentists also inducted three Haitian dentists as fellows in conjunction with the partnership.
